宇宙国际链基金会计划于2024年投入2600万美元用于生态系统发展
瑞士的Interchain基金会（ICF），即跨链通信协议Cosmos的核心开发者，将为维护该生态系统在明年拨款2640万美元。
根据Cointelegraph的12月13日公告，ICF 2024年的路线图 “优先为Interchain Stack的最佳功能性提供资金支持”。其中，300万美元将用于CometBFT，这是Cosmos的拜占庭容错引擎，用于状态机复制。与此同时，450万美元将用于Cosmos软件开发工具包（SDK），750万美元将用于Cosmos的原生跨链通信协议（IBC）。
其余的415.5万美元将用于智能合约框架CosmWasm，数字库CosmJS以及生态系统安全审计。ICF董事会主席玛丽亚·戈麦斯表示：”今年的资金计划旨在加强免费使用的开源Interchain Stack，作为增强区块链互连性的催化剂。我们在生态系统中的角色是帮助跨链实现互操作主权的监护人。”
Cosmos的IBC桥目前与总市值为130亿美元的46个区块链进行连接。尽管已经很多了，但仍然低于Cosmos核心开发者Tendermint（现在是Ignite）在2021年11月设定的2022年200个IBC目标。
