And let me tell you, the OG GROK brand has reached new heights! They’ve got 15,000 followers on their official X account and over 13,000 people in their Telegram channel. Impressive, huh?
But let’s get down to the nitty-gritty. On the same day Grok was launched (November 4th), OG GROK hit the scene with a total supply of 6.9 billion tokens – because, you know, Musk and his meme-loving ways, always playing with the numbers 69 and 420!
Now, brace yourselves for this – once the token creation process was completed, the developers wasted no time adding 5.016 billion GROK and 1 ETH to the initial liquidity pool on Uniswap V2. That’s some serious liquidity!
At the initial price of around 0.00000038 USD, calculated based on ETH’s price of approximately 1900 USD on November 4th, the OG GROK token was a steal! You could practically buy a gazillion tokens with a pocketful of loose change.
Fast forward to November 13th, and something extraordinary happened. OG GROK skyrocketed to about 0.025 USDT. Yes, you heard that right! It surged a whopping 65,000 times from its initial circulation price! It was a day of celebration for the GROK community, until the party suddenly came to an abrupt halt.

As expected, ZachXBT’s investigation had a tremendous impact on the price of GROK. It took a nosedive, plummeting to around 0.0087 USD, a devastating 65% drop from its peak. Ouch!

They admitted that the X account had indeed been used for another project, which unfortunately fizzled out due to lack of interest. They insisted it was not fraudulent behavior, just a failed venture.
To restore faith in the community, the GROK team took decisive action. They burned a whopping 180 million tokens from the developer’s address, worth over 2 million USD! Now that’s commitment to transparency!
